I created my personal avatar through DoppelMe.com to represent myself both personally and aesthetically as an animation to remain anonymous, an idea stemming from a fellow food blog (Curtinfoodie, 2016).  My devilishly handsome avatar is pictured with short brown/auburn hair accompanied by a fiercely masculine beard, reminiscent of myself.  I selected my avatar to wear a red football shirt and to be holding a pint of beer whilst at a pub, again something I personally could be seen doing, supporting my beloved Manchester United whilst enjoying a deliciously frothy brew at a local bar.  The background pub theme theme and fact I’m holding a beer also serves to reaffirm to viewers that my blog revolves around pubs.
